About Ben
An Expert in Public Speaking and Rhetoric
Dr. Voth is the Director of Debate and Speech, and Professor of Rhetoric at Southern Methodist University. His mission through research and teaching, is to help individuals find their voice in the world.
Dr. Voth works with a variety of national and international clients to equip individuals to have their voice. His clients over the past 10 years include:

A Specialist and Consultant in Public Communication
Consultation work is always adapted to suit the needs of my clients. The most common format involves:
- a period of instruction on communication techniques [often in the morning session].
- a break [often a lunch break]
- Preparation for public presentation performance
- Performance of the presentation [usually 5-10 minutes per person]
- Feedback [group and individual]
This five step process can last anywhere from one hour to eight-hours. I have equipped hundreds of individuals to communicate better. I draw upon my experiences training national champions in speech and debate at the collegiate level alongside the insights I have gained from hundreds of hours working in the private sector.
